More often, it looks like:
- keeping an appointment despite anxiety
- setting a clear boundary
- choosing not to betray yourself anymore
These are small flames.
But they are the ones that light the way forward.
What cannot be seen
Some wounds stay invisible.
Some storms happen in silence.
You can smile and be exhausted.
Say "I'm fine" while struggling inside.
Function while standing near the edge.
That is why mental health deserves more than slogans.
It deserves listening, respect, and time.
Protecting your light
This is not about forced positivity.
It is about protecting what remains alive within you.
Sometimes that means:
- resting without guilt
- slowing down
- stepping away from what harms you
- speaking
- returning to simple gestures
Healing is not linear.
It does not need to be visible to be real.
If you are going through a dark season
You do not need to solve everything today.
Start small.
A call.
A walk.
A shower.
A meal.
An appointment booked.
One more day.
Sometimes, rebuilding begins there.
Keep the flame
Some seasons bend people.
They do not define them.
Sometimes, the greatest proof of strength is not shining brightly, but refusing to go out.
